Hello everybody. JoyofCrimeArt here and I need an extra week of content to give me more time to work on my web comics! Um...I mean I wanna celebrate reaching 75 watchers...hehehehe. Anyway, you all asked and now it's time for me to answer. So let's just jump into it-
asks
1. cats or dogs?
I would say dogs, but that's partly my family hasn't owned a cat since I was a baby. And I have no memories with said cat. I do wanna get a cat someday though, just to see what it's like.
2. dream job?
Honestly, as sappy as this sounds, I would love to just make comics and dumb reviews for a living. That has been my dream job, for the most part, since I was seven. (There was a brief period of time where I considered wanting to become a professional animator, but that dream dropped pretty quickly.)
WHICHISWHYOUSHOULDALLWRITINGGETCOMMISIONSFROMME-
3. annnnd top 2000s cartoons?
Off the top of my head (in no particular order)
ask
1. hAVE YOU EVER EATEN SQUID?!??!
No.
2. Have you ever seen a double rainbow?
Maybe? I feel like I have, but I can't recall for sure.
3. DO YOU BELIEVE IN UNICORNS
No. But I believe in what they represent.
4. Have ya ever accidentally stOLEN something from a store? ( like "ah shit i forgot i put this in my pocket!")
No, but I once accidentally stole somebodies Sprite bottle from the break room fridge. I brought a Sprite can, but I forgot that because at the time I usually brought bottles to work, and took the bottle without thinking. I felt so bad that I bought another bottle of Sprite and left it in the break room fridge with a post-it note on the bottle telling the person who's bottle I stole to take this one as a replacement. They never came, and I eventually just took the bottle, not wanting it to just rot in the fridge forever.
5. Have you ever done that weird thing where you look like your breaking your knees just to step on the diagonal pattern repeating bricks on the ground without stepping on the cracks?
Probably? Again, like the double rainbow thing, it feels like something I would do.
6. DO YOU OWN A BIKE?
No. My little brother once got a bike for his birthday, but never learned how to ride it. I have no idea what happened to that bike...
ask
1. If you could form an Avengers style team of cartoon characters, who'd be on it?
The Hyperactive Cute Girl-vengers!
2. Most overrated piece of media?
The Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Mario Party series. Because I'm a stupid normie. Also I really like Perfect Dark for the N64. It's better than Goldeneye 64 and I will FIGHT YOU on this!
5. Favorite cartoon characters?
Tomoko Kuroki from Watamote and Steven from Steven Universe are the first that come to mind, but there are probably some better answers I'll come up with later after I post this and will be like OH CRAP-
6. Shows you'd like to get into?
To many to list, but a short list of a few I'd like to watch sooner rather than later (In no particular order...)
There's no particular joke that stands out off the top of my head. It's more of an overall "positive vibe" that comes from your journals that I really appreciate and find refreshing in what sometimes feels like the sea of negativity that SOME reviewers can be. (Not to say there NOT funny, it's just nothing really stands out off the top of my head.)
8. Did I introduce you to anything?
Not really. Though that's not really a knock on your, and more of a knock on my obsessive need to follow everything animation related...
9. Best YouTubers?
Sorta depends on my mood, and what I'm looking for at the time. At this exact moment (which'll probably change in like...an hour because that's how I am.) I'd say Gigguk maybe? He's a really good anime reviewer who is able to pull off both comedy and analysis really well, and I enjoy his content a lot, despite rarely actually seeing the shows that he is reviewing. He's a big influence on how I do reviews.
ask
1. Ayem, Seht, or Vehk?:
Sorry, I don't know much about Elder Scroll. I played Oblivion, but never got to far into it.
And that's all the questions! I'd like to thank you all for asking, it really means a lot! Also, despite my joke at the beginning, I'd really like to thank everyone who helped me get to 75isk watchers. It means a lot, and I really appreciate the support. I hope you all enjoyed the Q&A and have a great day.

Off the top of my head (in no particular order)
- Samurai Jack
- Invader Zim
- Teen Titans
- Avatar: The Last Airbender
But if I wanted to be completely honest with myself, there's no way I couldn't list Homestar Runner as my overall favorite.

The Hyperactive Cute Girl-vengers!
- Hanizuki
- Pinkie Pie
- Unikitty
- Mable Pines
- Mako Mankanshoku
Better than Infinity War by a mile...
2. Most overrated piece of media?
- Rick and Morty
- Samurai Champloo
- Hunter X Hunter
- Netflix Castlevania
- One Punch Man
None of these shows are awful, and I understand why people like them. And there are even elements of these shows that I do like. I've just never been able to fully get into them.
3. Most underrated piece of media?- F is for Family (Feels like it was really overshadowed by Bojack.)
- Ballmastrz 9006 (Because it's an adult swim cartoon that's name isn't Rick and Morty)
The Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Mario Party series. Because I'm a stupid normie. Also I really like Perfect Dark for the N64. It's better than Goldeneye 64 and I will FIGHT YOU on this!

- Cowboy Bebop
- Little Witch Academia
- Moral Orel
- Harvey Beaks

My OCT History
Hello everybody, JoyofCrimeArt here. And for this, my 700th Deviantart post, I thought I'd do a post on my OCT History. I've seen a lot of other people do post like this as a way make it easier for people to know what OCT's they have taken part in. And while I do want to do that, I also want to use this as an opportunity to talk about my experiences with each OCT and go into some behind the scenes details on my thought process behind my entries. I mean OCT's were a big part of my page, and really my life for a long period of time. So I think it deserves a bit of a retrospective. And I'll make sure to update this list as time goes on if the need arises. Link to all my OCTs here if you want to check them out here. Dreamcatcher OCT Partner: @MrDataTheAwesome (Audition Only) OC: Alanna Marcov Round Placement: Round 1/5 (Dropout.) Finished as Spectator: Dreamcatcher was my first OCT, and as such it was a bit of a learning experiences to say the least. I haven't really talked about
Powerpuff Girls 2016 RE-REVIEW: (Part 2)
Hello everybody, my name is JoyofCrimeArt and welcome back to my look back on the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot. In part one we went over the characters both new and old. So in this part we're gonna go over...everything else. I recommend checking out part one of this review if you haven't already. But if you have, than let's continue. One aspect of this show I haven't brought up yet is the voice acting. Which got the show in...you guess it...a bit of controversy upon release. This show in controversial. I know. You all must be real shocked at this point. This was due to the fact that all of the original girls, as well as Princess Morbucks for some reason, were all recast and replaced with new voice actresses instead of their original 98' voices. Fans of the old show were outraged, and even the voice actresses of the original girls themselves got in on it too. Being upset that Cartoon Network didn't ask them if they were interested in reprising their roles. Even going as
Powerpuff Girls 2016 RE-REVIEW: (Part 1)
Hello, everybody. My name is JoyofCrimeArt. And today we have not one, but two very important milestones to celebrate. Not only is today the five year anniversary of me doing Cartoon reviews here on Deviantart, but it is also my fiftieth review overall. Online review shows were always something I loved watching growing up. People like The Angry Video Game Nerd and the folks at Channel Awesome and Normal Boots. The list goes on. It's just surreal for me to me to think that I'm actually doing something like this. But I have to say that it's been a blast. I got to meet and work with lots of cool people. I got the opportunity to shine a light on some of my all time favorite pieces of media. And I hopefully was able to make a positive impact in some peoples lives, even if it was just in a small way. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and the audience that I have acquired over these last five years. And I have one show to thank for all of this... Do you ever just look back at
Watamote MANGA Review: (Oh, The Cringe!)
"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed...A few people cried... Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form, and says, "Now I am become CRINGE, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that, one way or another. " -J. Robert Oppenheimer, 1945 -Probably -(Don't Google it) Hello, everybody. My name is JoyofCrimeArt, and no matter how I look at it, Watamote is one my favorite anime series of all time. I've talked about this series before. Twice actually. Once in it's own review I made back in 2017, and again in 2019 when I went over my top thirty best cartoons of the decade. (Where I put it as number two!) But for those of you who are new, here's a brief summery. Watamote, also known by it's English title "No Matter How You Look At It, It's You Guy's Fault I'm Not Popular" is a 2013
